Read Across America Partner Events

- At UH Rainbow Ahuja Center for Women & Children there will be an event where children will receive an age-appropriate book with characters that look like them.
- From 2 – 4 PM, volunteers and staff will be reading aloud with children.
- At UH Rainbow Babies and Children NICU, the NICU will be decorated with grass, clouds, and flowers. Parents will be given a cut-out flower to write a note, the flowers will then be collected and placed on a wall altogether. Every parent will receive a copy of Read to Your Bunny along with educational materials. Volunteers will also be reading to babies.
- At MetroHealth Pediatrics – Main Campus, children will receive educational materials and a book to which they can closely relate.
- At UH Rainbow Ahuja Center for Women & Children there will be an event where children will receive an age-appropriate book with characters that look like them.
