Bridges Out of Poverty-Two Day Training-Session is FULL

Join us for this two-day virtual training to learn about the Bridges Out of Poverty philosophy. This program uses the lens of economic class to provide employers, community organizations, social agencies, instructors and tutors concrete tools and specific strategies to prevent, reduce, and alleviate poverty.

During the training you will:
•Explore the mental model’s economic class
•Discuss the hidden rules and language of our society as they pertain to poverty.
•Explore the impact poverty has on individuals, organizations, and communities.

OhioGuidestone is a licensed provider of the Bridges Out of Poverty workshop.
They will share how to build resources, improve outcomes, and support those who are moving out of poverty.

PRESENTERS: Amy French is a Program Manager for OhioGuidestone’s Workforce 360 Department and has been with the organization since 2011. She is certified to facilitate Bridges Out of Poverty, Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin By World and A Framework for Understanding Poverty.
Rebecca Coiner is a Community Engagement Specialist for OhioGuidestone’s Workforce 360 Department and has been with the organization since 2012. She is also a certified facilitator for Bridges Out of Poverty and Getting Ahead While Getting Out.

Both Amy and Rebecca are passionate about delivering the Bridges Out of Poverty philosophy to individuals and organizations to bring awareness and understanding to different socioeconomic classes.

To participate in this session, you need to commit to both days. Each participant will receive a required workbook. The Literacy Cooperative is covering the cost of the training and the materials ($70 per person). Please be sure you are able to participate fully so we can be good stewards of our funds.
