Growth Mindset for You and Me: Strategies for Teachers and Students to Increase Abilities and Achievement
The impact of the pandemic has left a mark and has placed a plethora of additional challenges on educators and students. With many students struggling and teachers doing their best to get them on target, it can be a frustrating task that seems impossible to achieve. In this workshop, Growth Mindset for You and Me: Strategies for Teachers and Students to Increase Abilities and Achievement, participants will learn about the research supported and evidence based strategy growth mindset and how to develop a growth mindset and help their learners develop a growth mindset. Growth mindset is a researched-based way of thinking that studies have shown to close the achievement gap. Having a growth mindset means that one believes that they have the ability to develop their skills and talents through hard work, good strategies, and input from others. Adopting this mindset will allow teachers and students to embrace the current challenges in education as an opportunity to learn and grow together.
