Literacy Strategies for Engagement, Assessment and Differentiation

In this session, participants will be actively engaged in 5 to 6 literacy strategies that can be used with any content area and any learner. These strategies will demonstrate how to assess prior knowledge, build interest, and differentiate instruction. The trainer will act as the teacher, modeling each strategy, while participants will take on the role of the student, experiencing what they would in a classroom setting.
