The Literacy Cooperative’s Early Literacy Resources: The Literacy Cooperative offers several free literacy resources to inspire a love of reading in your child’s life. Learn more here.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a unique early-year book gifting program that mails a brand new, age-appropriate book to enrolled children every month from birth until five years of age, creating a home library of up to 60 books and instilling a love of books and family reading from an early age. Learn more here.

FamilySpace: FamilySpace is a preventative, place-based strategy for Cuyahoga County families with children ages birth through five, funded through a generous investment from Cuyahoga County’s Invest in Children and United Way of Greater Cleveland. The program is run in partnership with Cuyahoga County Public Libraries, Cleveland Public Libraries, and Family Connections. Learn more here.

Kindergarten Club: For KIDS and their families who are beginning KINDERGARTEN in August 2024. The program is especially created for children who are not enrolled in classroom based preschool, daycare, or Head Start programs to provide group learning experiences. Enjoy learning, fun and family activities to prepare you and your child to enter kindergarten this fall! Children attending will receive free books and educational materials. Learn more here.

Family Engagement Series: The Literacy Cooperative has a series of virtual presentations on health topics of interest to our Imagination Library families. Watch here.

The Literacy Cooperative offers a diverse menu of trainings for literacy practitioners, volunteer tutors, and other cross-sector professionals. The Cooperative’s focus areas of early literacy and contextualized curriculum are reflected in training offerings that cover best practices & relevant issues in a hands-on, participatory approach. Training sessions provide an important opportunity for dialogue, networking, and exposure to new ideas and strategies from experts in the field.
