GUIDED SELF-REFLECTION: A TEACHER’S PERSPECTIVE
Friday, April 11, 10 am – 12 pm EST
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRACKS:
Social-Emotional Learning | Self Care for Staff
In 2025 when teachers are being asked to do so much, it is important for teachers to pause and reflect on their attitude toward the act of teaching. Teaching is always more involved than just the execution of effective lesson plans.
This reflective workshop will focus on three important questions:
- As a teacher, how do I view my students?
- As a teacher, how do I view myself?
- As a teacher, how do I view the act of teaching?
Teachers will be challenged to reflect on their personal dispositions as professionals. They will be encouraged to check out their mindset to see if they are still focused in a positive direction. (This workshop protects the privacy of all individuals as they take this self-reflective journey.)
