LLN-Understanding Immigration Issues

Come to the next gathering of the Literacy Learning Network! We will be discussing current immigration issues and what resources are available. We will have a networking activity, a panel discussion, and lunch. You are encouraged to bring flyers about your program that can be put on the resource table. Also, you can make an announcement about any upcoming events your organization is hosting. Come and learn what the differences are between a refugee, asylum seeker, undocumented, dreamer, and immigrant. Our panel will include people who work with migrant/refugee children, immigrant adult learners, and people who promote immigrant rights and reform.
