Effective Strategies for Students with Learning Disabilities

Students with learning disabilities represent 10% of the K-12 population. This percentage is higher in adult literacy education. This session will focus on effective strategies for helping students with learning disabilities in the areas of reading and mathematics. These strategies can (and should) be used with all students, but are particularly helpful for students with learning differences, difficulties, and disabilities. Participants will leave with practical strategies for reading and math that are applicable to multiple lessons and content areas. Presenter will provide real-world examples. Session will also include a few tips for use in the Zoom platform.
