Join this interactive online session by Carmine Stewart, Ph.D. to discuss the uses and ethics of using AI in adult and family education.

In this session, we will discuss AI and its implications for adult education. We will talk about how adult educators might be able to use AI to support adult learning, the benefits of using AI during instruction, the drawbacks of using AI during instruction, and ethical considerations of AI related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

AI in Literacy Summit: Third of three webinars 

This series of online workshops will provide opportunities to learn more and network with fellow providers around the potential impact of AI on our work to improve literacy. While focused on our community in Greater Cleveland, anyone involved in literacy is invited and welcome to join. Carmine has worked in adult literacy for eighteen years. Carmine is the President and CEO of Aspire Consulting and Educational Services (professional development, and diversity training for adult literacy agencies), the President of the Ohio Association of Adult and Continuing Education (OAACE), the moderator for the LINCS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Community, the Vice Chair of the Association of Adult Literacy Professional Developers, and the Vice President of Programming at Seeds of Literacy. Carmine is passionate about DEI and teacher quality. Carmine earned her doctorate in 2012, after defending her dissertation, “Teacher Preparation and Professional Development in Adult Literacy Education.”
