PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Literacy Cooperative offers a diverse menu of sessions for literacy practitioners, volunteer tutors, and other cross-sector professionals. The Cooperative’s focus areas of early literacy, 2Gen or family literacy, and adult education/career pathways are reflected in these offerings, which cover best practices & relevant issues.

Professional Learning Initiatives
Pre-K Teacher Academy and Adult Education Professional Development Day are our annual in-person events featuring keynote speakers, community resource sharing, and networking for early learning professionals. Our next live event will be held at the Educational Services Center of Northeast Ohio in Fall 2026.

On-Demand Professional Development
The Literacy Cooperative provides a variety of professional development sessions on demand. Each session consists of a recorded video with questions integrated throughout the video. You can pause and revisit the courses at your convenience. Upon completion of each on-demand session, and submitting an evaluation survey, you will receive a certificate of participation via email.
